虛擬化開源軟件

Sun Microsystems 今年再次贊助香港國際軟件自由日，成為今年的金贊助商。同時安排了兩位 Java 與軟件大使到場講解兩個和開源有關的題目。

第一個題目是虛擬化（Virtualisation）的開源軟件，Ivan Ma 將會先介紹伺服器以至桌面電腦的虛擬化（Virtualisation）的開放源碼軟件。

VirtualBox 是 Sun Microsystems 的一套強勁、開放源碼的 x86 虛擬化產品，可用於企業系統和家用電腦上。VirtualBox 可在 Windows、Linux、Macintosh、OpenSolaris 主機上運行，而很多作業系統可以客戶端系統執行，包括 Windows NT 4.0、XP、Vista、Windows 7、DOS、Linux、Solaris、OpenBSD 等。

VirualBox 是以 GNU General Public License (GPL) 發佈，Sun Microsystems 為 VirtualBox 開發社群作背後支援。
